The Vancouver English Centre in British Colombia closed recently following a teacher strike which had been in affect for the past month. It is reported that due to the sudden and unexpected closure around 600 students have been affected

A partnership has formed between the University of Rochester and the Cambridge Education Group. The two hope to offer international students in North America an intensive English programme which will focus on English language and study skills.
