Number of Asian students in Welsh universities falls and Enrolment in Canadian universities rose in 2016

Welsh universities have scene a drop in the amount of international students enrolling.The countries that stand out in the report are Bangladesh and India. The recent report from last week emphasises the importance of international students, especially students from outside of the EU, attending universities.
A recent report has shown that the number of international students traveling to study in Canada increased by 17.5% last year. Student commencements also increased by 22%. Just over half of all international enrolment in Canada has been attributed to China and India, including others countries such as Brazil, the Philippines and Vietnam.
