A recent analysis report has revealed that international students are providing the UK economy with an impressive £20.3 billion. The report was based on the 231,065 international students that began studying at UK universities in 2015/16.
A letter from several regional mayors has been written regarding the benefits of international students studying in the UK. The seven mayors are urging the government to reconsider the contributions international students make to the UK after it was recently revealed that students provide the UK with many economic benefits.
