Contrary to the belief that foreign students come for the course and leave, a study found that over half of international students who graduated in 2009, remained in Finland for work. Five years later, 44% were still employed in the country.
A report by the Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT) reveals that international students choosing the destination contribute at least $302million through a rang of short term courses and longer term degree programmes.
