Housing investment boosted by int’l students and International enrolment for US higher education declines

A new report suggests that an increase in UK student housing is to be expected this year. The increase is believed to be caused by the increasing number of international students in the past decade. However, there is concern that the wrong type of accommodation is being supplied.
It has been revealed that enrolment in US higher education declined between 2016 and 2017. This was determined through recent student visa data from US immigration. From 2016 to 2017 foreign enrolment fell by 4%. International graduate enrolment declined by more than 5%.
