Several projects to develop international education growth in New Zealand have received funding worth up to NZ$444,000. Funding of up to NZ$50,000 has been made available to several education providers, businesses and peak bodies. The funds have been provided to support international students choosing to study in New Zealand.
Plans are being made between French-speaking Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and the Flemish Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) to build a new living space to provide accommodation to specifically international students, as well as researchers. The facilities will accommodate students with 800 rooms, catering and also a hall for special student events.
