British Council launches MOOC for Agents and Study indicates Indonesians are admiring to study abroad

The British Council has now launched a new online course, designed specifically for both education agents and counsellors. The MOOC is hoped to prove useful in helping agents starting out in, or expanding business to, the UK. The course covers a variety of topics, including but not limited to, the UK’s university admissions service, preparing agents for UCAS and visa preparation.
A recent study has found that a clear majority of young Indonesians are hoping to study abroad. However, a large majority of survey respondents, both students and parents, have citied their worries in terms of safety and affordability of travelling to study.
